Thank you for showing us that Dale. As a real fan of the York 700 series (600 series for C?), it is really great to have a look at that horn.
Quick, semi off topic question: Does your 692 have the same .750 bore? THe catalogs listed the 692 as a "medium" bore I seem to remember.

I guess my early run 2165 is a bit of a descendant from your 345. Personally, I like mine similar to how you feel about your 345.

Recording bell tubas are completely out of vogue…which is why I own two of them, and have one more in queue as a project instrument for myself.

I remember one (maybe the same one?) being up for sale on eBay a number of years back. The FIXED recording bell put me off at the time, which in hindsight was a bad reason not to bid on it…..
