Looking to buy an Alex F tuba. If you have one you’re wanting to move or any leads on one let me know. I’m very interested in purchasing one.

Re: WTB: Alexander F Tuba
I might be ready to sell mine. I haven’t really played it much in the last few years and it really should be used more. Here is a link to a photo and some recordings with it in a quintet, plus a short clip of Bydlo with a local orchestra radio broadcast from six or seven years ago.

Plays great, has some quirks as you would expect for an F tuba from the 1960’s. However, I’ve played 8 different Alexander F’s over the years and this one is the best all around one that I’ve had time on.
Good luck on your search! These are great tubas!

I have also been considering an Alexander. It’s not letting me private message you, but if the original poster is not interested, I’d like to discuss purchasing your horn (or anyone else looking to part with an Alexander). Please private message me or reach out at vztidwell@gmail.com.Brendan Bohnhorst wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 8:07 pm I might be ready to sell mine.
