Just a heads up that most of what you'll find in that price range will be older 3v Eb tubas. Not sure that's exactly what you're looking for.

That’s what i’ve been doing, it’s an old post I updated and no longer use these.

I currently have a great BBb tuba (a Jupiter 1110); however, I plan to double major in education and performance and go beyond to at least a masters degree, and my professor has said in emails that all of his students play either F or CC tubas and would recommend that I learn one as well.
