Re: What was your favorite horn in the elephant room at the army workshop?
While I didn't get to attend this year, it's nice to see people praising the Willson Compact Eb. That was by far the best horn I tried at the previous year's convention. The horn damn-near plays itself!

Re: WTB: Yamaha 103b 3/4 Tuba
Hey! Thanks for the offer. I do already own 2 sousaphones- but I’m looking for a tiny Bb to use as a practice horn, and my heart is stuck on a Yamaha 103. I know they’re hard to come by, but I’m gonna keep searching.

WTB: Yamaha 103b 3/4 Tuba
Hello!
I am seeking a Yamaha 103 tuba. Ideally, the second version of the horn with the slightly larger bore.
I am not in need of a case.
Located just outside of Richmond, Virginia. Willing to drive about 3~ hours in any direction / have horn shipped.
Thanks!

Hey everyone-
Been a while since I logged in.
I acquired one of the open-wrap 3400's back in February for a stellar price. I love the horn. (Still working on nailing everything above high-Eb) Thanks to everyone that messaged me with sale options. I haven't had this account long enough to send ...

Re: Elephant Room Impressions (Add your own in the replies)
The Wilson 3400S FAS (5v Eb) has stolen my heart. I came back on 3 separate occasions to spend time with it.
There was an excellent Marzan on consignment with Baltimore Brass. IMO it would benefit from a Franken 5th, but had killer response.
The Wessex Prototype Eb (3+1) caught my attention, too ...

WTB: Wilson 3400 Eb
Hello fellow air basses,
I am interested in purchasing a Wilson 3400. I got the opportunity to try one at the ARMY Tuba-Euph convention and I'm hooked. I am particularly interested in the compact 5v model, but would consider the open wrap version too.
Budget is healthy.
